This year has been a challenging one for us all- families, communities, businesses. The struggle for the youth we serve in the City of Chelsea has been exasperated as our families are one of the most vulnerable groups in the region: The economic, social, and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic were immediate and dire for many Chelsea families who already live in unstable and unaffordable housing, face daily food insecurity, work for low wages, and live with increased health concerns.
The Gerald & Darlene Jordan Boys & Girls Club has supported our families throughout this crisis: Food and meal assistance, mental health care, in-person and remote learning and recreation.
Though our program design looks different, the mission is the same: Help young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. We do this by providing a safe haven- both online and onsite- filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life enhancing programs.
The Annual Golf Classic is our largest fundraiser. We hope you will join us and give what you can to continue this support. The event will follow safety guidelines to ensure everyone has a fun and healthy day on the course!
Safety Features for 2020:

- Masks required; social distancing; hand sanitizer available throughout
- One cart per person
- Assigned tee times to ensure space between foursomes
- Expanded continental breakfast when you arrive, delicious lunch on the course
- No closing ceremony but stop by to pick up prizes, auction items, etc. at end of your day
NEW THIS YEAR! $125 Bogie Bonus – package includes 25 raffle tickets, plus entrance into all on-course contests and betting holes, such as closest to the pin, long drive, betting holes for prizes, and more!
