Nourishing Bodies, Fueling Minds
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, we believe that proper nutrition is the foundation of health and academic success. We’re tackling food insecurity head-on, ensuring that every child has access to the healthy meals they need to thrive. From our full service kitchens to launching mobile grocery trucks, we’re revolutionizing how we feed and educate our community.
We’re on a mission to get Boston’s youth moving! Our diverse physical activity programs are designed to promote both physical and mental health, creating a foundation for lifelong wellness. From age-specific sports and fitness programs to outdoor adventure clubs and swim teams, we’re providing vibrant, inclusive environments where our members can be themselves, stay active, build confidence, and have fun.
The mental health of our youth is at a crisis point, but we’re rising to meet this challenge. Through innovative programs, professional counseling, and dedicated wellness spaces, we’re creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive emotionally. From art therapy to mindfulness sessions, we’re equipping our youth with the tools they need for lifelong emotional wellness.

How BGCB Clubs are Embracing Hydroponic Gardening
In addition to the fun and educational outdoor gardening programs we are running now, I’m excited about the opportunity these hydroponic gardens offer for Clubs to have access to gardening programs year-round.
Combating Food Insecurity
Our annual Edgerley Family Day of Service is one of many initiatives focused on ensuring youth and families of Boston and Chelsea have access to healthy and nutritious food.
