Club Night was more than just a showcase of talent; it was a celebration of community, achievement, and the power of the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Club Night, hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston at the Citizens House of Blues on Thursday, June 6, 2024, was a spectacular event showcasing the incredible talents of members from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in front of an audience of nearly 800 people. The evening was emceed by longtime BGCB staff members Isidra Quiñones, Director of Alumni Relations, and Rick Aggeler, Director of the Josh Kraft Mattapan Teen Center.

The program began with a dynamic dance mix from C-TOWN Dance, setting an energetic tone. Jordan Club members playing as Horton & Jojo from Suessical Jr. the Musical followed with a heartfelt rendition of “Alone in the Universe,” captivating the audience with their vocal talents. The JBGC Band then elevated the atmosphere with their lively performance of “I’m Still Standing.”

Edgerley Family South Boston Club presented a dynamic music and dance mashup, blending various genres and showcasing the performers’ versatility. This was followed by a unique ballet and Afro dance mashup by the Roxbury Creative Artists, mesmerizing the audience with its fusion of classical and contemporary dance styles. Josh Kraft Mattapan Teen Center members impressed by covering “From the Start” and an original “I Can’t Let You Go” from their newly released Late Nitez Album. The night culminated with a powerful 10-minute performance by Makayla from the Berkshire Partners Blue Hill Club.

The event also featured recognition segments honoring the achievements of graduating seniors and award-winning Club members. The Teen Recognition Awards celebrated outstanding individuals for their dedication, leadership, and contributions to the community. Junior Youth of the Year recognitions and the prestigious Youth of the Year awards highlighted those who exemplified the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
