“Collectively, we can make a difference. We can come together tonight, and we can do a magical thing: ensuring that 200+ of our young folks now have internships. And we did that tonight! What else can we do as we’re pushing to ensure that all of our kids can read at a grade level, all of our kids are healthy, all of our kids are fed, and all of our kids have access to healthy food? We can do that because of all of you.”

—Robert Lewis, Jr., Nicholas President and CEO, at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s 2025 Annual Dinner

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) Annual Dinner wasn’t just another event—it was a celebration of opportunity, mentorship, and the power of corporate engagement in shaping Boston’s future. With nearly nine hundred business and community leaders gathered in one room, the energy was electric, the mission was clear, and the impact was undeniable.

Our dynamic hosts—Rick Aggeler, BGCB’s Executive Director of the Josh Kraft Mattapan Teen Center, and Club member Tea—set the perfect tone with humor, energy, and heart. They reminded us why BGCB’s work is so powerful: when young people are given the platform to lead, they rise to the occasion.

The ClubHouse Band, joined by talented Club members, brought the house down with performances that had everyone on their feet. Nicholas President & CEO Robert Lewis, Jr. closed the night with a message that left us all inspired. He challenged us not to simply hope for a better future for Boston’s youth, but to demand it.  Our BGCB Members have the potential, the talent, and the ambition to succeed, and it’s up to all of us to create the pathways that allow them to thrive.
