Back-to-School Drive Recap
This summer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston kicked off its annual Back-to-School Drive to equip thousands of youth across our 8 Clubs and YouthConnect program in Boston and Chelsea. These supplies are used to provide members with a strong foundation and tools they need for a successful academic year.
BGCB continues to provide welcoming spaces, enriching programs, and endless opportunities for our members and families. Gifting our members with school supplies allows them to feel confident and ready to learn as they enter the classroom for the new school year. Through skills, knowledge, training, education, and physical resources, BGCB members are readily equipped to pursue their goals and interests.
BGCB’s Results:
- 95% of 5th to 12th graders were at the expected grade level for their age
- 97% of BGCB seniors were on track to graduate from high school last spring
- 92% of members say they enjoy learning new things
