Ready to Work Summer Campus is Live!
Contributed by Walter Weekes Jr., Dana W. Smith Director of Workforce Development, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston
Ready to Work has been busy preparing this summer to organize a virtual campus experience and get our Ready to Work University prepared for this fall! I’m excited to announce that our virtual campus launched this week on Thursday, June 11th. It’s full of resources for our teen members and young alumni involved in our Summer Internships and Junior Staff programs. Check it out here! If you missed the full post on the RTW summer Campus earlier this week, check it out here.
Are you a Jr. Staff at one of our Clubs this summer?
If so, have you received confirmation or checked your email lately? If you’re wondering about your employment experience this summer and haven’t received any information yet, checking your email will be a good place to start. If there’s no information, look up for the agency assistance line for the agency your employment is through (e.g. SuccessLink, ABCD SummerWorks) and ask for clarity regarding your employment status. Have your application information and any emails from the agency available to use as a point of reference.
We hope all our teen members are getting excited for this summer’s employment opportunities through Ready to Work! Stay tuned with updates – follow us on IG at @bgcb_rtw!
