Why can’t Elsa from Frozen have a balloon?

The answer to Friday’s riddle: because they don’t know the words.

Try fizzy art with Arts Program Manager Yury! You need: a metal or foil tray, baking soda, white vinegar, an ice cube tray or containers, straws, and food coloring.

1. Fill your tray with baking soda.
2. Fill each ice cube tray with vinegar and add liquid food coloring.
3. Place one end of your straw into the colored liquid and use your thumb to cover the other straw hole.
4. Bring your straw, filled with colored liquid, over to your baking soda tray and drop it wherever you’d like.
5. Watch as the droplets hit the baking soda and fizz up. You can cover the whole tray in different colors and designs!

For all ages.
