Welcome to post #18 of Club at Home! Every day, we share content that brings Club programs, traditions, and staff into the homes of members. Our goal is to provide the same fun and educational activities to our Club members and families, even while Clubs are physically closed.

Today, we check in with staff from our Clubs who share different activities for members across all age groups including Wordy Wednesday, drawing, smoothies, smART Talks, and more!

Teen Center

No gym? No problem! Blue Hill Club alumna Denisha has got you covered with a Wellness Wednesday workout routine that can be done with everyday household items like laundry detergent!

Skyler, Teen Education Coordinator, has another math word problem to try.

Martin is going to go down the world’s tallest water slide. The top of the water slide, which is at the beginning of the slide, is 200 ft. high. The bottom of the water slide is 150 ft away from the bottom part of where the slide begins. In other words, the water slide is shaped like a right angle and the actual slide part is a straight line as well.

Given the dimensions of the water slide, how long will it take Martin to slide down from the top if he is traveling at a rate of 25 feet per second?
