Welcome to post #27 of Club at Home! Every day, we share content that brings Club programs, traditions, and staff into the homes of members. Our goal is to provide the same fun and educational activities to our Club members and families, even while Clubs are physically closed.

Today, we check in with staff from our Clubs who share different activities for members across all age groups, including Wordy, Wellness, and Win It Wednesday, DIY protective face masks, Soundtrap, and smART Talks.

We are also excited to introduce the BGCB Phone Support Line! If you or a family member are in need of support, or someone to listen to you, please contact BGCB’s Support Line at 617-994-4720 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily to connect with a social worker. Outside of these hours, a social worker will call you back within 24 hours. You can also text CLUB to 741741 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s 24/7 free and confidential text support system.

On your new phone plan you have two texting plans. The plan A includes 500 free texts per month but each additional text after that costs $0.10. The plan B simply charges $0.01 for every text. If you send 650 texts per month, which plan is the most cost effective?

Answer in white text: The plan B is the most cost effective at 650 texts as it would cost $6.50 compared to the first plan which would cost $15.
