Last Monday, four Yawkey Club of Roxbury members were met with a surprise announcement from BGCB President & CEO, Josh Kraft – not only were they going to attend a World Series game, but they would be delivering the game ball to the pitcher’s mound! For the first game, Red Sox legend Jim Rice and Yawkey Club member Stavaughn delivered the game ball. Before game two, Jerry Remy and member Jajuan delivered the game ball to the mound at Fenway Park. It was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience for these baseball-loving members. While only two of the four members were able to participate in the opportunity, as lifelong Red Sox fans, the girls, Autumn and Merkeb, are just happy the team won the World Series!
