In its 10th year, the Fred E. Fairfield Business Connections Breakfast is a vital part of our renewed efforts at strengthening the ties between local business and the Club. The event also provides a forum for local business owners and managers to meet and exchange information. All proceeds raised through this event support college preparation, summer camp and operational funds. Given the current climate, this year’s event will be virtual.
This year’s breakfast will feature keynote speaker Steve Pemberton, Chief People Officer at Workhuman and author of A Chance in The World. Steve is renowned for working with HR leaders and senior management executives worldwide to help build workplaces where every employee feels recognized, respected, and appreciated for their contributions in the workplace.
Past breakfast speakers include Cleve Killngsworth, former CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield, Robert Lewis Jr., Ronald Walker, Congressman Michael Capuano, the late Honorable Mayor Thomas Menino, George Russell, the Honorable Governor Charlie Baker, the Honorable Mayor Martin ‘Marty’ Walsh, Attorney General Maura Healy, Quincy Miller, and District Attorney Rachael Rollins.
