The Business Connections Breakfast is a fundraising event for the Yawkey Club of Roxbury, and is a vital part of our renewed efforts at strengthening the ties between local business and the Club. The event also provides a forum for local business owners and managers to meet and exchange information. All proceeds raised through this event support the Massachusetts College Tour, Historical Black College & University Tour, summer camp and operational funds.
The Breakfast Connection Series is in its 12th year. Previously featured speakers include Cleve Killingsworth, former CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts; Robert Lewis, Jr., Ronald Walker, Clayton Turnbull, Congressman Michael Capuano, The late Honorable Mayor Thomas Menino, George Russell, The Honorable Governor Charlie Baker, The Honorable Mayor Martin “Marty” Walsh, Attorney General Maura Healey, Quincy Miller, District Attorney Rachael Rollins and Author Steve Pemberton.
