YouthConnect Director Travels to England for Leadership Exchange Program

Rose Kanaan, YouthConnect’s Assistant Clinical Director will join officials from the Mayor’s office and the Boston Police Department to Manchester, England between January 11th through January 20th. During this time, the delegation will explore themes of community recovery, resilience, social cohesion, and preventing identity-based violence in response to the Manchester Arena bombing. YouthConnect’s unique partnership with the Boston Police Department and the city of Boston will be discussed as a way to create solutions that directly involve the communities that policy will influence.
