Annual Golf Tournament

The Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club invites you to tee off with purpose at the iconic William J. Devine Golf Course for our much-anticipated Annual Golf Tournament. Beyond a day of sportsmanship and scenic greens, your participation carries a profound impact, weaving into the vibrant tapestry of South Boston’s communal fabric.

For ages 6-7: Monday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. For ages 8-18: Monday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Parents must pick up children under 11 years old, while children 12 and older can leave as approved “walkers.” Pick-ups should occur at the designated dismissal times (5:45 p.m. for school days, 3:45 p.m. for non-school/vacation days).
A late fee of $15 for the first 20 minutes, plus $5 for every additional minute, may be charged for late pick-ups.
The Club provides free hot dinners or snacks during evening hours for members aged 6-18. Breakfast and lunch are also available during vacation days.
Cell phones are restricted during program time. Children should not take photos or videos without staff supervision, and phones are not allowed in bathrooms or locker rooms.
Children are expected to respect themselves, others, and Club property, follow staff instructions, and engage positively. Aggressive behavior, bullying, or the use of inappropriate language is not tolerated.
The Club has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and aggressive behavior. Progressive discipline is used, including warnings, behavior reports, and potential suspension or termination of membership for serious violations.
Weather-related closures will be announced on TV news stations (as Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston) and through the One Call system, which will notify families of any changes to the schedule.
Yes, there are many opportunities for parent engagement, including volunteering, attending events, and participating in fundraising efforts. Parents are encouraged to attend athletic events, workshops, and community activities hosted by the Club.
