About Lois:

Lois grew up in Charlestown where she and her siblings attended either the Girls Club or the Boys Club. The Club has been an important part of her life since, including providing a scholarship to nursing school. It was outside its doors that she met her husband, James, and her son Derek now serves as that Club’s Executive Director. From 1985-2004 Lois served on the Local Advisory Board, including as its first chairwoman. She became a Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Trustee in 2004 and a Trustee Emerita in 2013.
