Kelli Folger, Chief People Officer, joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in 2008. Prior to assuming her current role, she served as BGCB’s Vice President, Human Resources and Human Resources Director. Under Kelli’s leadership, BGCB’s Human Resources team of four are responsible for all of the people functions of the organization in accordance with the policies and practices of BGCB, the ethical and social consciences of business and employment laws, regulations and rulings of governmental organizations. Kelli is responsible for the strategic human resource planning to provide the organization with the best people talent available and to position the organization as the employer of choice by being aware of policies, practices and trends within the industry.  She oversees and administers all centralized functional areas of human resources, including benefits, compensation, recruiting, recognition, employee events, compliance, orientation, salary and new hire administration, reporting and data collection.

Kelli has worked in Nonprofit Human Resources for over 22 years. Prior to joining BGCB, she was the Human Resources Director for North Suffolk Mental Health Association, Inc. in Chelsea. Kelli has a B.S. in Sociology from Salem State University.
