At Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to achieve academic excellence, regardless of their background. We’re committed to closing the educational achievement gap and empowering our youth to reach their full potential. Our approach combines innovative programs, dedicated mentorship, and comprehensive support to ensure that every BGCB member has the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.
Reading, writing and math are the bedrock of all future learning and achievement. Our academic programs help our members reach grade-level proficiency and beyond, setting them up for lifelong success.
For many of our youth, particularly first-generation college students, the path to higher education can be challenging. We’re expanding our college preparation programs, increasing college tours, and implementing comprehensive support to ensure our members are prepared for life after the Club.
BGCB cultivates critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through academic enrichment activities. From debate leagues to experiential learning opportunities, we help our members discover their passions and aspire to greatness.
