In post #4 of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s “Club at Home,” we share content that brings Club programs, traditions, and staff into the homes of members. Our goal is to provide the same fun and educational activities to our Club members and families, even while Clubs are physically closed.
We check in with staff from our Clubs who share different activities for members across all age groups, including Lego Thursday, The Little Mermaid, Virtual Shark Tank, and cool quarter tricks.
Additionally, Boston Public Schools has announced that schools will remain closed until May 4, 2020. It continues to provide Chromebooks to BPS students who need one. Click here for more details and to find information about more affordable internet.
Riddle of the Day

For Gerald and Darlene Jordan Club teens, Teen Education Coordinator Skyler’s “Riddle of the Day” has become a fixture in day-to-day Club life. We’re excited to keep this tradition alive and bring brain teasers to the members and families of all Clubs as part of “Club at Home.”
Today’s Riddle:
As a little guy, I jump up and down
But I barely make a sound.
Blending in, the color of my skin
Is the same as the food that surrounds me.
In the dark of night, while out of sight,
My chirp lets you know I am around.
What am I?
The answer to yesterday’s riddle: A staircase
Tune in tomorrow to see the answer and get a new riddle!
